Laura Adams

I was born in Chicago, but have always lived and worked in the Rockford area. I graduated from St Anthony School of Nursing and have practiced nursing in OB/GYN for 33 years. As much as I love the art of medicine, I am equally enthralled with the world of jewelry and gemstones. I am obsessed with sparkle, and could never stop touching, examining or studying every specimen possible since I was a very young child. I am convinced I was a crow in a previous life! I graduated from Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a Gemologist in 2006 and while still loving nursing, I find much joy in my part-time work here at Clodius & Co. I have a wonderful husband, two incredible sons and a grandson that show signs and symptoms that he may have been a crow in a past life too!
